Join Tony Rice, Trade Policy Director for the National Milk Producers Federation and the U.S. Dairy Export Council for an update on the current trade policy landscape, including the Trump Administration's "America First Trade Policy,” relevant Congressional/Farm Bill activity, and ongoing tariff and nontariff barriers to cheese trade. Meet Your Speaker!
As NMPF’s Trade Policy Director, Tony Rice works with NMPF’s Trade Policy team to develop, implement and communicate NMPF’s work to support policies that promote U.S. dairy exports, seek removal of policies that impede those exports and address foreign barriers to U.S. dairy sales. NMPF does this work in concert with the U.S. Dairy Export Council. Tony also manages supply chain policy for both organizations. A native of a Pennsylvania dairy farm, Rice has a master’s degree in applied economics from Johns Hopkins University and an undergraduate degree in agribusiness management from Penn State University. He currently lives in Arlington, VA.
