Annual Conference Volunteers
The ACS Annual Conference takes place with the support of hundreds of volunteers who generously contribute their talents and their time – from a few-hours shift up to a full week or more – to help make our events successful.
All volunteers receive benefits that may include an official conference t-shirt and the opportunity to work behind the scenes with a network of industry leaders!
General Volunteer Roles
Are you interested in volunteering with a crew of fellow cheese lovers at an ACS Annual Conference? New and returning volunteers (minimum age of 18) are essential to the success of our conference and encouraged to join our conference crew of 300+ volunteer shifts. Experience with cheese is not required and training will be provided for all roles for each shift by our team leaders. We have a wide range of volunteer opportunities with different shifts for pre-conference functions and conference events. Volunteer teams are needed in the following areas: product receiving, certification exams, registration, food preparation, and preparation and event support for both Meet the Cheesemaker.
